  • He looks sooo fu cked up singing Heros here. Just watch his eyes.Lol!

I met him when I worked in the Starwood Nightclub,in LA.At the VIP Entrance. And,yes,he's really a nice guy.

  • @skeletonkey6 perhaps.the drugs make him forget some moments.the ziggy era aparently he renember

  • A very lucid, insightful, and well spoken Bowie in the 1977 clip. When he says he can't remember what he was talking about "at that particular point", is this the Station to Station period when he was in LA?

  • I kind of know what you mean about the drug thing and it's easy to stereotype he's better as a junkie but then i listen to The Man Who Sold the World, Hunky Dory and Ziggy all of which were made pretty drug free. His addictions didn't really start until he moved to America for the USA 1974 Diamond Dogs tour and thereafter.

  • @Bodacea1 That's because he really doesn't mean it himself.

  • I went to Berlin once and all I did was riding the S Bahn in circles with Heroes on repeat on my mp3 player.

  • @Jennifr1966 Those were his Phil Collins years, LOL.

  • I disagree. He might have had a couple bad songs, but who knows what he was going through during that time. besides, most creators have a few missteps. I still think he is amazing.

  • I agree. Bowie had a lot of passion, but not on drugs, when he authored this song.

  • @pythonbyte That's a bit harsh. Besides - don't famous people usually mean 'cut down' when they say they've 'given up'.
