Well that is horrible that they are laughing, I know it's about the actor but come on let's be professional here! It's like mocking daytime soaps!

They aren't laughing about that, they where laughing at the newscaster. It's like at a funeral when you find something to laugh about. I've seen this before and was never insulted or bothered.

Y&R is the # and the crown jewel on CBS. If it not broke why fix it. Leave Y&R alone.. It wouldnt surprise me if Days would move from NBC to CBS and go ahead at
3pm head to head with GH!

I have two suggestions for CBS to find a replacement for Guiding Light.
First Chice Please reseurecte Crime Drama Soap The Edge of Night back to Daytime TV on CBS.
Second Chioce If CBS does not want a replacement for GL Please move The Young And The Restless to 3:00PM Eastern to go head to head with General Hospital on ABC.

What angers me more than the show being cancelled by CBS are the so-called journalists who find this news something to laugh at. Let's not forget that this news show is the lowest rated morning news show on the air and they too could be the next show cancelled! I bet they won't be laughing then!

I feel bad that Guiding Light is leaving hopefully not enirely. But if they can try and bring back The Edge of Night in an hour long format. That would be a good replacement. CBS give it a try.
