I love Keith Olbermann and am a dyed-in-the-wool liberal but I think the idea of micro-chipping people is a VERY sinister idea - whether it's the "mark of the Beast" or not.

@basketballcentral6 If America is a "Christian Nation", then it is also a "Women Nation" or a "White Nation". The US is a democratic nation which holds people of many beliefs and cultures. Reagan was one of the worst presidents there ever were. The Christian bible is just as violent and hatefilled as the Islamic Quran. We see what happens when a nation is run by a theocracy. It is oppressive, freedom denying, and abusive to all it's members. Religion is the very opposite of freedom.

That, of course, is the method of capitalizing on the gullibilities, fears, superstitions and ignorance of the masses; i.e. religion. Once hooked, the addict is your catch yours as long as you can manipulate and expound upon that 1500 yr old collection of bronze-age fables.

Good point, "markofthebeasts", religion can and has been used for evil in the past.

Just like everything that was meant for good has been used for evil at one point or another. So should we quit driving cars, or creating governments because they have been used for evil. What is wrong with teaching children do to good unto others? You cannot even teach that in today's schools. Incidentlly, before it was conquered...Israel did exist...check your history.
