I often wondered if this was possible, so I finally got around to trying it. Yes it is possible to run two separate copies of BF2 on the same machine. Why would you want to do this? Well to help your server get ranked, as you can only play one at a time duh! I am not sure why the video is all choppy, and even missing things that I saw while recording it (like the load up screen, and the last alt tab I do in the video), I blame it on the recording software, but it is the only software I found that records dual monitors.
I am running windows XP in vmware for the second copy of BF2. I was initially surprised it would run a 3d game since vmware does not support the video card you have, but makes a virtual one. I know you cannot see it in the video, but the emulation was really fast. Fast enough to where I could play BF2 on the VMware system if I wanted with no lag or dropped frames!
