Pleurisy is what i have, i couldnt think of it in the vid.

Pleurisy occurs when the double membrane (pleura) that lines your chest cavity and surrounds each of your lungs becomes inflamed. Also called pleuritis, pleurisy typically causes sharp pain, almost always when you take a breath.

Pleurisy occurs as a complication of a wide variety of underlying conditions. Relieving pleurisy involves treating the underlying condition, if it's known, and taking pain relievers.

The signs and symptoms of pleurisy may include:

Chest pain when you inhale and exhale (between breaths, you feel almost no pain)
Shortness of breath
Dry cough
Fever and chills, depending on the cause
The sharp, fleeting pain in your chest that pleurisy causes is made worse by coughing, sneezing, moving and deep breathing. In some cases, pain may extend from your chest to your shoulder. You may find relief from pain when you hold your breath or when you apply pressure over the painful area.

When an accumulation of fluids (pleural effusion) is associated with pleurisy, the pain usually disappears because the fluid serves as a lubricant. However, if enough fluid accumulates, it puts pressure on your lungs and interferes with their normal function, causing shortness of breath. If the fluid becomes infected, the signs and symptoms of dry cough, fever and chills may appear. An infected pleural effusion is called an empyema.

When to see a doctor
Call your doctor if you experience any of the following:

Intense, persistent chest pain
Shortness of breath
High fever
These signs and symptoms point to a problem with your lungs or pleura, and may also indicate an underlying illness for which you need prompt medical care.

  • They won't let you die. They are dumb, my doctor at the ER yesterday didn't get it, even thought I tried to hint at the fact that I probably had pleurisy, or a similar kind of inflammation in the chest. Diagnosed me with GERD instead. What a moron. Gerd doesn't cause the whole upper abdomen to hurt, cause the back, neck and shoulder to hurt and constrict breathing for hours every day. Wouldn't let me have noninflammatories and totally missed the fact that my chest xray was abnormal.

  • @blobvision wow i never heard of gerd, but yes that is terrible and it is a bad feeling as well, yes sometimes docs dont know as much as they think!

  • Little lady...if you still feel bad...try FRESH CAYENNE PEPPER...NOT THE POWDER... in warm water.

Im experiencing the same thing...im 100 percent vegan, no fast food and i get Pluerisy?? Only thing if could be coming from is the shit being sprayed all in the skies. Also try red reishi mushroom, lobelia or pleurisy root. Fuck the doctors they been BULLSHITTING me for a whole year with no diagnosis.

  • I hear you girlfriend I didnt have coughing or phlegm they tryed telling me it was phenomena. I had blood coming out my nose. I never smoked and a a healthy practitioner.I had to have major surgery, after being untreated and held hostage in Bali hospital . got to Singapore hospital for surgery it

  • @reddiamond270 GERD stands for gastrooesophageak reflux disease, more commonly know as acid reflux. So basically he wrote it off as a bad case of heartburn. I know what heartburn feels like and it doesn't cause breathing problems and pain on the far left side of the chest that goes up the shoulder and neck for days. It was insulting. I need medicine really bad right now, and I have to wait to see my doctor, if she would even help me either.

  • take it easy

  • get well soon get soem rest

  • Feel better, it really sucks to be sick. it probably isnt the best idea to not eat all day sweety. Get some rest
