What's the difference between Arakan & Rakhine? I think Arakan was how rakhine was used 2 b called.

The Rakhine or Arakan built up their own country 5000 years ago and the kingdom was declined as Burmese occupied the Country without declaration war in AD 1784 .Since then, The Rakhine becomes one of the Burma State. In Maruk U period ,Buddhist kingdom of Arakan became one of the most powerful in Southeast Asia.

Not sure rakhine or arakan. May be time to time, things may have been changed. But either in "Pali" or "English" language, it sounds same to me. We only have to keep our race and culture alive and should not mix with others. No offense here. btw, thanks. I really like his songs.

I love this song this is my favourite but I request 2 all Rakhaing Peoples to stop saying Arakan. We r not Arakan we r Rakhaing. So plez say dat we r Rakhaing not Arakanese.
