I got the same pet ^^ got it 2 years ago also, my 3rd year playing wow :P 2005-2008 :P now im playing guild wars for 2 years. Have to say, I miss wow, but I miss pre-tbc wow not bc/wotlk/cata wow

this pet will never be optain abel agin this was only doing the OL in beijing. we will get a difrendt one for the next OL.

do i only get pet and tabard or somehting more?

The tabard is something you definitely get either you win/loose in a battleground. The chance of getting the pet various on characters, but there is a chance after each win. And also there seems to be an additional pet that a lucky few will be given. For more information I recommend browsing warcraftpets(dot)com for Competitor's Souvenir.
