Saw the Church last night...AMAZING. Not only did they do a searing version of this, they played a Smashing Pumpkins track (very well), after Steve K made cheeky quips about men in 'Frocks'
30 years on the Church are still amazing.

They did this song justice... the original is still the best but this sounds cool :)

The Church plays this so much better. I've loved the Pumpkins since their first album, but they don't play this song anywhere nearly as well as the church does.

Smashing Pumpkins...I love doing that! But seriously, The Church were always way under-rated. If This was a SP original it would be one of their big hits.

The sad thing is most of the audience (younger aussies) probably don't even know anything about The Church...or that this is a cover

lol...love how the Smashing Pumpkins do Reptile..and Church do Disarm...almost like a nod to each other...and "liddledriver" I think you are wrong about not only the Church but INXS...INXS started out originally in West Australia....perhaps you are thinking of Dragon or Split Enz .

Before commenting on this not being a song by NIN, or how this doesn't sound like NIN's song Reptile ... please read the description that has always clearly stated:
The Smashing Pumpkins came on stage to in the encore to play a classic Australian song - Reptile - by The Church.
