besides, dana paid chuck more than couture, even when chuck was losing 2 straight fights in a row, while randy was the HW champion, and one of the legends that helped built the company.... so what's up with that?

interesting I bought the affliction fight the ufc fights are better but they do have much more experience either way randy is the man and should own his own organization

The UFC believes that the popularity of MMA is inextricably linked to their company. "Dana White as Vince McMahon". this is similar to how the WWE views themselves within the pro wrestling marketplace. In other words, when people buy the WWE PPV they're not so much "buying" pro wrestling as they are "buying" the WWE product. Likewise the UFC by their promotional tactics appears to believe that when people by *their* PPV events they're "buying" the UFC corporate product and not the sport of MMA.

Randy has great stand-up. Look what he did to Tim who had been knocking people out and won the belt. Randy played Tims game and beat him at it. He is the best thing that could have happened to the UFC. Couture played a major role in putting the UFC on the map. Both by his fighting ability and busting his butt to build the sports popularity. I would be pissed too if a lesser fighter got paid more. Hes not crying just demanding the respect he more then deserves.

i think that it was randy couture's agent speaking in this video not the real randy........and that is what every sports' should be checking in to.....because its the agents that ruin the fighters and players in every sport......because if there was no money involved these people would still be doing this....it's the love for the sport

in the example here, randy is already 44 years old, and he is one of the best HW champions, and if you were in his shoes, i'm sure you would love to have the chance to fight the man (Fedor) who many other people consider one of the all time best fighters in the world.
