Well the industry has changed a bit. Now we stick an annoying banner on that web page you're trying to read, rather than interrupt your TV programme. Oh and we use social media to fool you into thinking that the cool kidult recommending a Ford Focus on Twatter isn;t really a 30 something paid lackey of The Man. I should know, I am that lackey!

perhaps i'm wrong but this piece about cowardly creatives w/o creativity seems strangely reminiscent (OK, a rip-off) of Avion's 2001 winner "Truth in Advertising".
now is that irony or just sad reality?
