Maskini Are My People

What is the Best way to make lasting changes on a Rich Resourceful Continent? If you had the power for 4 or for 8 years? One thing You have to know is what changes "The People" Want made. Not what you think they want. You Ask them... Then listen to this song and get to work. Don't ask The so called leaders who are now mismanaging the state houses. Ask the people directly... Here is an example of what the people don't want...They don't want wells to pump water to grow more crop surplusses that can't compete in the world market. They do not want used (old or new) clothes. They do not want used books with useless ideas. They do not want reconditioned machinery and vehicles to carry them to congested ghettos. They do not want weapons to destroy each other. They do not want inferior education. Let them choose what to educate themselves with... What do they want then? Ask them again...Or ask yourself this question, What do you want for yourself and your family? Are our children proud of us when we send to Africa what Africans do not need? and we ignore what they ask of us? What do they ask of us? A fair excess to the markets. Ask the G20 people or going back to The meeting where they partitioned the Continent or ask The UN or Now ask The AU... Ask the People What they want... and when you are done asking, Ask Again and Again. Do onto/ or for the unfortunate people what you would want them to do for you to you?... Maybe you should do nothing if what you are doing sets them or condemns them to a cycle of unending poverty... Yes? But then What do I know? I only sing my blues in Ki-swahili...
