People talk a lot of crap, but I bet majority of them have never sailed through a line squall fully crewed let alone single handed... and thats assuming they've ever sailed!

Shee.... When I was his age I was working on a commercial fishing boat and incharge of cooking for the crew... This kid is spoiled, a microwave.
But hope it was fun.

I am not hating, but I would hardly call that "roughing it". Looks like a pleasure cruise to me. Also, there was far more than $6k of work alone done to the boat, after its purchase.
