"Sonic Boom." I don't know who composed it or arranged it or where it came from. It's just me performing it on a pretty good hair day.

The sheet music on my website is in Bb minor and F minor, which sit well on BBb tuba, CC tuba, and Bb euphonium, but in this video I play the music in a key better suited for the F tuba I'm playing.

  • What type of 'movie magic' software does he use for this?

  • @blackchidori97 Adobe Premiere Pro 2.

  • @PeterTubaEuph could you possibly post only the second part to this song because i am having troubles wondering if i am rushing or to slow. thanks

  • @Mr954187 I have a long list of requests so it may take a long time to get around to it. Until then, set a metronome at about 100.

  • GAHH!! i play euphonium, and i am playing this at a cancert with two other tuba players, we are sounding great!! just.. not as good as this..

  • @malllyally465 Make a video of the concert and post it as a video response to this one!

  • Tubas at grove city call it 'tuba fanfare' lolol

  • I absolutely LOVE this song. I listen to this video 24/7. I downloaded the sheet music and have been practicing it with my to best buddies who play the tuba. I think we're finally getting these rhythms correct:)

  • @GFMStenorSAX The key is relax your face and use lots of air. DOES NOT MEAN LOUD. It means keep your air stream steady by never running low. You have to have supporting air . To start off you may need to breathe a lot more often but once your lungs expand you'll be hitting pedals no problem

  • would it be possible to get it in f horn?

  • @GFMStenorSAX That is the "Marching Band" name that kids have given it.

  • @PeterTubaEuph are you a band director?

  • @PeterTubaEuph How long have you been playing tuba and can you just post a video of the second part because I am having troubles with the sixteenth notes and listening always helps

  • What is the real song
