im using it how it should be. everything is mechanically correct... bootlegging it is just not right haha. not to mention lame. just do it right. plenty of problems can be avoided
Not really. You're missing out bigtime on a conversion. The lazy geometry gives just can't compare to the track geometry. The only acceptable conversions are TT bikes. But only because they look amazing. Even in that case, that goes against how the bike should be. I don't see why everyone wants to convert road bikes. It just makes them slower and less efficient
Well yeah. But thats pretty lame. Road bikes shouldn't be fixed gears. I used to ride a conversion before I got a track bike and my chain would come off far too often, even though it was aligned almost perfectly. Road bikes just aren't meant to have a fixed wheel. It's alright if you don't ride much and don't mind riding a sketchy bike.
I had to "like" this video, my reasoning being that I liked the fact that 0 people "liked" it and 9 people "disliked" it! hahaha

@delnuggets
well if we aren't supposed to go against how bikes 'should be', you shouldn't be using a bike designed for a track on the road at all.
