Just a quick avatar painting for a friend who likes Chrono Trigger =D
As you can see, there's a sketch layer, then below a painting layer, after painting, I flatten all and then use the same brush to blend the sketch into the painting.
Most of the painting was done with a single watercolor brush I saw in a japanese magazine (Gelatin) with a tutorial by Redjuice. If you have SAI, you can also copy the settings right here. http://i630.photobucket.com/albums/uu25/mini-miausy/brochitaRedjuice.jpg
I love this brush, it allows me to paint with a high pressure, and blend with low pressure, try it!
