  • Rep. Miller has been a consistent advocate for consumers against the abuses perpetrated by the banking industry. He pushed for the FHFA (Fannie and Freddie) investigation resulting in recent lawsuits against the largest banks.  He has fought against Republican efforts to strip the CFPB of its power. And he supported Financial Reform, which unfortunately, ultimately had no real teeth, of which leading Democrats (Frank, Dodd, Schumer, Obama, all bought and paid for) can share the blame for.
