Voodoo Chile

Carl Filipiak Group performing Voodoo Chile at the Columbia Lakefront Summer Festival.

Recorded in HD (720p30p) using two Panasonic HVX-200 P2HD cameras and a Canon EOS Rebel T1i (500D). Audio is from the on-board stereo mic on one of the two HVX-200 cameras, and the project was edited on an Apple Mac Pro using Final Cut Pro.

The original plan had been to shoot video with the two Panasonics, and stills only with the Canon, which I had just purchased that afternoon, along with a Tamron 18-270mm lens. But, I decided at the last moment to shoot some video footage, just for fun. When I got it into the computer, I found that it was every bit as good as the video from the Panasonic -- and in some ways, better!
