I got to meet Jimmy twice before he died and got to play his guitar his grandfather made i played the battle of new orleans and he sang it it was the best thing that ever happened to me i have "ALL" of his songs plus some that he gave me ill never forget the time .

OMG some PLEASE PAAAHHHHHLLLEEEAASSSEEEEE post Pretty Mary. I could listen to Jimmie sing it over and over all day long. he is a great American treasure who should have his name in the musical HOF's of any type of American music.

Jimmy Driftwood was a bridge between white country/folk and Rockabilly. If you really want to study music then check out Jimmy's stuff. He had a lot of Soul and he lives through his music. A massively under appreciated National Treasure. Rock on Jimmy!
