This sounds amazing, I love how well it sounded with your setup, it has a very live feel. What were the guitars running through and what were the overheads on the kit? Mighty fine job as always Jesse :)

@HCDrummer7 Thanks you! I was happy with how "studio" it sounded for being live. It sounds live with their playing but there's not too much room sound/bleed for being done in the same room. I don't remember what the guitars and amps were, I can check though. The guitar on the right side (Darrell) was recorded with an old EV e635a. The right side guitar (Alan) was an EV RE20. Overheads were my usual MXL 603S pair, though I've got a KM84 now and will hopefully make it a pair soon!

@jessegimbel Yeah, it has a great balance of both a studio yet live feel. I lurrrrrve the vibe on the EP! Also you seem to love that RE20! It's actually sitting pretty my on my list of future purchases, you've shown it being used in fair few different situations which has helped massively. And those overheads sound sweet especially with the hihats or do you have a hihat mic as well? Again, top effort Jesse!

@HCDrummer7 I do like the RE20! I haven't had it that long, so I'm still trying it out in different spots, but I've been happy where I've used it so far. I find it to be similar to but a slightly different flavor from an SM7, and use them in similar spots (vs. a 421, which can work on the same spots but is pretty different). So far I think I've only used it on kick, electric guitar in this video, and vocals (Martin Cumberton video), I recommend it. And no hat mic, just the MXL 603s!
