The temple in Dubai , UAE caters to the large Hindu community in the United Arab Emirates and is the only Hindu temple in that country. The temple complex comprises a Shiva , Shiradi Sai and Krishna temple.
The Hindu Temple is located west of the Dubai Creek in the area of Bur Dubai (specifically Al Bastakiya) and is adjacent to Al Fahidi Fort very near to DUBAI MUSEUM. The temple is run in conjunction with the Indian consulate in Dubai; the temple also performs marriage ceremonies between Hindus. However, registration of Hindu marriages cannot be performed in the United Arab Emirates.The nearest METRO STATION to approach Hindu Temple complex is called Khalid Bin Al Waleed Station- also known as Burjuman Station.
Thanks to the DUBAI Government which follows a policy of tolerance toward non-Muslim religious groups .There is also a temple for Sikhs in same temple complex.
There were approximately 500,000 Hindus in Dubai .

Sorry...the external facade of the "temple" does not resemble proper Hindu architecture - the proper atmosphere is missing. The priest and devotees look positively scared, as if they don't want to be caught worshipping loudly by Police. For all the tolerance of Dubai authorities, I don't see the level of freedom Hindus enjoy in temples of England, Australia, USA. And considering there are nearly 500,000 Hindus in the UAE, just ONE temple for all of them is not being very considerate.
