what song, i love it, iv heard it in an origanl vid

Your holding them to long. Try working on hooking up faster to keep speed. Pre drifts are all about scrubing off some speed.

looks like need for speed hot pursuit

I love the vid!!! (hate the music :P) thanks for that vid!

you probably figured it out by now but if you look back over your shoulder in the direction you want to turn it really helps.

I just started longboarding, well not really started yet, but i have a set of orangatang from my cruiser and ordered a Krackedskull scimitar. So my question is, how to make a effective drift?? does the glove helps? coz i know i have tried it on my cruiser without glove and it just like grabs on to the floor. Is it that i need to break into my wheels more? how can i do that?

get all the protect gear you can, gloves of course even tho people are now days doing some crazy stand up slides. I learned to slide when I just started to go fast enough, many have said that speed is the key... when you start to learn how the wheels loose its grip you can throw some sweet drifts and slides in lower speeds also... or maybe you just want to go faster faster and faster :D o'tangs should do a nice drifty slidy ride...

@reinohh alright thanks bro, i mean i already got a few hardslide experience from the short boards, but that's like 100a .. now that i try to use soft wheel to powerslide, it feels like trying to grind a curb with a shortboard but then not using wax... it's either that or i can rip my nose back around and only makes a 90 turn slide -.- oh well i guess i will pump and crave mine a bit to let the wheel break in then go flying and then sliding

@skyking166
yeah thats really different with normal skateboard and hard wheels... with that you pretty much need to keep all the weight on the board to try to prevent it not sliding off you feet. with softer wheels you need to get some weight off your wheels... like lay back more and maybe kinda trhow your hand up right when carving to slide.. anyways there some good tutorial vids on tube if you search.

What softness wheels do you have? I know this isn't an easy thing to do on 75As.
