Authentic Waikiki Beach Boys follow in the footsteps of legendary waterman Duke Kahanamoku by teaching visitors how to surf in Waikiki. First Friday in Oahu's urban Chinatown is a monthly celebration of art, culture, and nightlife in Hawaii.

@sambastar10 Winter time is the big wave season is hawaii. Ive seen some mosters while visiting during Christmas. Another amazing part of being there at that time is your there in time to see the whales migrating to alaska.

I learned to surf while stationed at Pearl Harbor for four years. Hawaii is amazing and so are the waves. . only most locals didn't like haloes stealing their waves. Especially military.

I just came back from Hawaii, went to the North Shore numerous times, never saw any waves :( I was there, hopelessly looking at the ocean lol! If there aren't any waves in the end of October, when do they start??!??
