It breaks my heart to hear the tension between Layne and Jerry in this interview. I love them both to death and it just hurts. It's so sad what ended up happening to such a beautiful friendship. They loved each other and I hate how drugs and jealousy got in the way of that.

@nimitz1983 yep, and Jerry is an artist and an alien abducted Elvis.. Jerry only likes money and success to me, if it wasn't for Layne I would never listen to AIC. Jerry is gross, Layne was an artist.

@seanpq123 Because he COULDN'T tour. He was more interested in shooting drugs. I love Layne and AIC is my favorite band, but he couldn't help himself, and that's why the original AIC could never quite fulfill their potential.

Actually it was true...I was in Seattle from 1998 to 2000 and there were articles about Layne wanting to do another studio album but the other guys especially Jerry told him that if they were to do another album they would want to go on tour and promote it and that was something Layne didn't want to do.
