Oy... I just watched all 14 hours of this back to back over the last 2 days... I remember seeing this on TV when it came out on Sci-Fi... still as good as ever... truly epic series... possibly the best series/film sci-fi channel ever made... why on earth can't they make anything of this quality anymore? I put everything on my channel as a playlist in order starting with the end of episode 1... some on them on here are out of order

I thought the beating of the woman scene was a bit uncalled for; but it kind of shows you what the military mentality is going to be in this situation; still a bit graphic for a Spielberg film.

Is that Spielberg's own repressed anger and aggression being shown against women (maybe Amy Irving) having the officer beat her to death?? After all there were a dozen simpler, less painful and less violent ways of getting rid of her. Poor thing... don't want to be his sun and moon. Lol
