I'm reading excepts from an article that was in the June 2011 issue of National Geographic. Pictures are also from that article. I have not done a video like this before, but I was truly moved by this piece. I encourage everyone to read the article for yourself, and also read about Nujood Ali.

Incidentally, you are aware the video covered more countries than just afghanistan? Should we not be critical of these aspects of these countries cultures?

@IranianAtheism If you had read the story linked, you'd see that it happens in Yemen, Afghanistan, Nepal and Ethiopia. The savages are the ones that marry little girls, regardless of culture or location. In April 09, Karzai signed the Shia Family Law, which made child marriage legal, so to answer "who?", start there. UNICEF puts the worldwide number at 50 Million girls affected, and 57% of marriages in Afghanistan are to girls under 16. This is not civilized, beautiful or advanced.
