Sebastopol Museum - Western Sonoma Historical Society
The Western Sonoma County Historical Society (WSCHS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 and incorporated in 1978 to help preserve and maintain the unique heritage of the West County area.
Luther Burbank's Gold Ridge Experiment Farm (Gold Ridge Farm or GRF) is an ongoing project of preservation and restoration.
West County Museum (WCM) located in the old downtown train station, mounts two or three new exhibits a year.
The Society also presents annual preservation awards to those who have done an outstanding job of preserving or restoring original architecture or, in building new structures, have kept the flavor and heritage of rural Western Sonoma County.
