Iron Maiden, "Rainmaker" bass

People dont seem to realize that Im NOT playing with a pick! Im playing with the tip of my finger, so plz, no more pick haters. I did it cause it gave me the right sound. Steve plays like this in the official video, probably not the whole song but I did it anyway. Ok? If you want 100% Steve Harris style, check some of my other vids.

Yeah, I had a quite a effective time period, so I decided to upload one more song ^^ I present you Rainmaker, my (at least for now) all time favorite song. This song is perfect, the lenght, the melodies, the pace and the solo gives me shivers every time I hear it.The Dance of Death album was back then a little disappointing, but today I can say its a bit underrated. I will never forget the first time I heard rainmaker =) Well, no tabs here, all ears, and it was easy to tab. Its not hard to play at all, its just a great song I had to cover. Steve doesnt play it like this live, but he does in the official video and its much more fun to play like this, with chords. My left hand was massacred after this, Im probably not immune to chordpains yet, dont know if I will ever be.
Oh yeah, this song was written by Dave Murray, so I want you all to say "Hail almighty Dave" :P

ajde da i hvata ima koje prave cover od maidena... inace imam band i sviramo samo maiden nesto metalice i jakoo malo ostalog!! al od maidena jedno 15-ak pjesama.. i gle ovu pejsmu istotako mozes svirati prstima kao sve ostale ... ja jusviram slicno kao fear of the dark.. tako da naglasim akord samo pri promjeni akorda... pokusaj mozda ce ti lakse biti.. inace svaka cast!! <3

i think you can reproduce the same sound with a different setting on the ampli.. but now i play only with fingers, so i can't know surely

@DustmanYT sure i agree if your gonna do a cover. but i meant just overall. i use a pic with my band becuse i like the tone more. but i can play with my finers and slap. i love slap, but it just dosnt match the type of music i play. a good bassist will familerize themself with all styles. not that long ago i just started learing how to tap. even though im not that great at it yet xD
