Plympton & Gilbert's Cove Fire Department responding to a chimney fire on January 29, 2010. I was only able to catch Rescue #4 leaving the station and then all trucks arriving on scene. It was a short drive but as you'll see the road conditions were really bad. This video was shot from the Chief's POV as we caught up to Rescue #4 leaving the station. http://pgcfd.tripod.com

  • Whelen dash light?

  • @achilles6312: No not whelen, that one is a Micromax brand....it's not a usual brand but it works great!

  • lol 2 trucks to a chimney fire? Why?

  • @traineespark: We always run 2 trucks to most calls except medicals. One engine and a rescue/equipment truck. The other reason we do is because if we need to create a safety zone, we have 2 apparatus to block a traffic lane to make it safe for the firefighters.

  • Needs more lights on back.Let's make a new rule if it's snowing or sleeting,Holiday or night no calls for fire trucks, lol.

  • @wannabenj: LOL sometimes I wish, what a miserable night that was
