@2ndltalfredludlow very stupid to call me a sad little guy since the English never gave the William Order. The William Order is a Dutch medal given by the Dutch government! Britain war records, including gen. Brownings, still blame the Poles for their failure at Arnhem. The English never decorated the Polish army for a heroic Rhine crossing in an attempt to rescue the British at Hartenstein.

@redpaw550 First of all i want to thank HenryvKeiper for his great arnhem videos and giving a sad guy a chance to speak, secondly the 1 Independent Parachute brigade (Polish) did eventually received credits. In 2006 they were awarded with the Military William Order.

A) 'those fucking bums' went to war because of Poland. Polish and British soldiers died fighting together, many settled here after the war. Try visiting one of the Polish war graves in England we maintain with respect.
B) You think that after the war we could have fought the Soviet Union? Have some fucking perspective. You shouldn't be proud, you should be ashamed.

One interesting theme from this film is laughing. It's a kind of Omen in the film. In this scene Sean Connery seems troubled by the sound of the ducks as if they are laughing at him. Later the mad people are laughing at them.
