  • I went to see The Fall and Blues Explosion in Boston back in... '92? Anyway the girl in front of me was so tiny I thought someone brought their ten year old until she turned around - Thalia Zedek!

  • @MarsHottentot: I saw Thalia Zedek in concert last year. A good concert, but honestly I preferred her with LS.

  • James Lo drumming was very unique. I played drums and his drumming style really influenced me in those years. Now I’m in contact with Sonda Andersson, but honestly I’m not very informed on what to do the other Live Skull first line-up. Mark C play with Outpost and with the International Shades (Bob Bert at the drums). James Lo has played in the last Baby Dee album, Tom Paine is a movie critic and Marnie working as teacher in an art school....I belive...

  • yes, James Lo was a fantastic drummer but also Hutchins did a good job with the LS. I found these photos on Flickr.

  • do u have disengaged?

  • thalia with live skull so outshined come...........sorry.

  • Beautiful and affecting slideshow. Is that a clarinet that Thalia is wielding?

  • The Live Skull that I'm familiar with -- and remember fondly -- is the lineup with Marnie and James. However, I'm learning here . . . this is quite nice. Thalia's vocals inhabit the music and affect me. Thanks for putting this up. This is aural art.

  • The good old days when music didn't suck...

  • Come simply rocks, and is easily one of favorites, but the line up with James and Marnie...they had it. Those rolls that James would do, he had a very identifiable drum sound, and Marnie's singing... understated and perfect with the guitar jangly angular-ness. Seeing all of these LS vids brings back so many memories. Thank you. What are Mark and Tom doing these days? Marnie? James? I hope they are all healthy and happy.
