  • does anyone else think that's creepy?

  • The uke in this video is tuned A-D-F#-B, which is an older "jazz" tuning, but if you just play the exact same chords she's playing on your GCEA tuned uke, you'll automatically be playing in the key of "C." So, where she shows an A6, if you play that exact same fingering in GCEA, you'll be playing a G6, and so on: her A7=G7, Dm6=Cm6, etc.! So, in other words, just play the chords in the video according to their diagrams and not their names, and you'll be just fine.

  • I love it!! Why only the one video?

  • This is the best way to play that song!!!!

  • Brilliantly simple way of showing the transcription that is being played here. Thanks.

  • @DurerDrew many thanks......I appreciate it!

  • mecha creepy

  • The other night, my friend Josh and I were watching this on his DVD extras of The Jerk, and yes, this is quite creepy indeed! It makes me want to sample it in some kind of industrial song. Hell, I just might do that.

  • Love this!! But she did another tutorial of the same song with completely different video - ??? why?

  • are you kidding me ? JAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • the B-part is different from anything else i've seen, but i really like it. excellent tutorial. thanks

and good catch, babylizard, i was wondering why the A chord sounded like a C...

  • - so if you want to play it in this pitch check out a version in C (not difficult) for GCEA tuning

    - tho i have to say i like the higher pitching of this version due to the capo (tricky to get my fingers around) and there's some interesting changes in there that i hadn't heard before

oh once more just to dream in the moonlight...
