50cc Chinese Scooter not starting

This heap is not starting so I need someones technical insight to help fix this piece of crap.

I have:

Cleaned the carb
Changed the motor oil
Changed the gear oil
Changed the spark plug

spark plug wire fail and spark plug relace that first. Then fuel pump if wire and spark plug fail.

I'm getting the same problem. Did you ever figure this out? Based on the comments below I'm going to check the compression and re-set my valves this week.

i was told it was the battery.as long as i kick start it, its starts fine, the scooter runs fine too then as long as it is warmed up it will start with the electric start. the max i can have it off and still be able to use the electric start is 4 hrs. after that i have to use the kick start again. i was told it works when warmed up because driving it after the kick start charges the battery and scooters have good charging systems. good luck

@Straightbangin1979 Funny you mention that because mine is doing exactly the same thing...im staring to think its a fuel line or carb problem, will have a nosey tomorrow and tell you if i find a solution

mine was doing the same thing. i had the spark plug replaced and it started up awesome after that for about a month and now its giving me crap starting again. i had the battery checked and it checks out as normal. mine is 6 mo old with 1,600 miles on it. it takes about 6 times to start it but after i drive it a lil bit if i stop it and restart it again within an hour (when its warmed up) it always starts first try so i dont know what the deal is. sounds like yours trying to start too.

very bad compression and set your valves to .004 for both intake and exhaust

how many miles on it??

very low kompression. adjust youre vavels intake: 0.05mm and exhust 0.10mm. you can search on adjust the vavels on a chinese scooter on youtube.

I had that same noise and reaction from my scooter when it doesn't, so I charged the battery, and it started to work. A few days later the stupid thing stopped starting again but turns. I haven't done anything to it now, but I'm gonna see if I can change the spark plug and the oils. Did you charge the battery? If you don't hear the "chug-chug-chug-chug" noise then I'm guessin the battery's dyin.

kinda sounds like it isnt getting any spark, might wanna check that out. Im no mechanic, but if it isnt getting spark try changing out the cdi or ignition coil and see if it fires up.
