continuation of service with traditional Japanese Gagaku music and "Shomyo" chanting. Shomyo is characterized by slow tempo and is typically used as an introductory invocation and ceremony closing. Here the ministers begin with "Kaikyoge" the verses for opening the Lotus Sutra.
