I'm guessing this is from around 1998.

  • I saw this on two episodes on Sprout On Demand.

  • Yeah, they ran this a lot during that time.

  • Is this a tape-to-DVD transfer?

Anyshoe, my bet is yeah, probably 1998... I know it had to be before 2000 (when I remember first seeing it).

  • Yes, it is. I'll mostly being using it to post Plaza Sesamo things I can dub into clips here (as the ripping file sizes are quite large; this one was 20 MB) and occasional SS things and whatnot.

  • I really hope you've got "Three Sides Now". That's one of my favorite songs, but I think it only aired once in the U.S.

  • I've got it. And I'll dub into English as well. ;)

  • Does anybody have the Grover clip where he tells us the next clip will feature a square with the line, "It's not a four-sided whatsis? What is it called? A square? Are you sure? All right, I'm just a monster doing my best. Would you roll the four-sided whatsis film? All right, a square!" If so can somebody please upload it?

  • "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" is my favorite big band song, and Grover is so cute in his version.

  • And it's all thanks to you for posting this.

  • What a nice song sung by Grover!

  • According to Muppet Wiki, The earliest known appereance of this was in episode 3849 (from Season 30) on February 11, 1999. But technically, this segment was produced at the end of 1998. So, you're right.

  • Now I know why I saw it twice. LOL!
