the rp 500 and 1000 sound decent,but it depends how you use them and tweak them.I used to love them,but then I played the Vox Tonelab EX. I got rid of my rp 350,355,500 soon after.The Vox is the best sounding floor multi fx unit I have ever had or heard,by far.I paid 229.00 for it brand new,and my 500.00 rp 500 couldn't come close to the tone.Same as the boss,and pods.The new line 6 HD's sound good,but I am sticking with Vox from now on.The sound much better.

@hjalmarBuoi they dont sound realistic cuz u need an amp that doesnt colour up the rp500's modeling.. its quite realistic..

@BiavaStratTele theyre modeled.. i mean you get the modeled tone.. so its not "realistic" but its not crap either i guess
