I looked into the mouth of the Pageton, West Virginia coal mine my grandfather worked in 100 years ago. The opening was partially blocked when the coal ran out. Only the sound of my footsteps broke the silence.

God Bless you sir. I miss my second home called Whitby WV. The mines are reclaimed, and I know what you have felyt and seen there. My grandmas house is a very similiar thing now.
