Chicago laws make it nearly impossible to sell tasty food on the go. The City Council is considering a freer regime, but the proposed law still bans entrepreneurs from selling in the morning or stopping anywhere near a building where food is sold.
Food trucks and carts would be banned from business districts with the most customers.
Call your alderman today to say, "Get mobile food rolling all over Chicago!"

Do you have any idea what it cost someone to open a restaurant? THe cost of city permits, health permits, taxes and monthly building rent? Here comes a greaser with a chickenshit vendor trailer and he is going to start feeding your customers. Bullshit!

Ummm, it's reality here. In my town you cannot sell unless you do have a toilet, or have a business within sight that contracts with you to allow your customers to use theirs. Otherwise no permit.
