My daughter's hair type has been the subject of debate. I received a lot of messages with people evaluating her hair type. Maybe I'm wrong about what I mentioned in the video (coconut cream natural relaxer) when I mentioned that it was 3a in parts, 3b in another and 3c in the very middle (most resistant). Some disagreed and felt it was 3c or 4a. Take a look see and tell me what you think?!?!?

  • It's easy: If the hair is pretty straight when wet w/ waves throughout the crown and a clear s-pattern in the body 3a majority

When hair is wet it's wavy in the crown w/ spirals at the ends 3b majority

When hair is wet it curls immediately to spirals and ringlets 3c majority

Dry 3c hair looks like wet 4a hair and so fort

The only way you can tell hair type is when the hair is wet and the cuticle layers are laid flat because Moisturized hair is its true natural state. PH Balance!!!!

  • a mixture of 3b and 3c

  • Does it really matter? Just another way for Black people to segregate ourselves - good hair bad hair none sense. Common people it's the 21st Century!!!!!!!

  • 3a 3b

  • 3 a b

  • @newnatural445 Mine is 3a-3b and is not as remotely curly as that. it has to be 4a

  • I hope my children have curls. Having a straight haired child would be awful. LOL just kidding, but still, I want my children to be curly!!!!!!

  • @Faithyalice09

Her hair is DEFINATELY NOT 4a, definetley 3 something. 4a is ALOOTTT more course.

Take closer looks at the little girls hair

  • I thought I was looking at my daughters hair, it looks JUST like hers. And I thought maybe 3b. My daughters hair texture and type seems to be the same all over.
