The commercial does not say that any of these people who destroyed their car ever filed an insurance claim. Maybe they had so much money that they didn't care about getting reimbursed for their previous car and "wanted out" no matter what so they could go buy a new Toyota.
my god, you're unbelievable. this is advertising. jesus, soon all the ads aired in america should have "don't try this at home" warnings. stupidity, plain stupidity
Those year-end Toyota television ads are offensive and immoral. Under cover of humor, these ads promote insurance fraud, even though there is no mention of claims, coverage or collusion. What the ad is really saying is: "Destroy your car, present a claim to your insurance company, and go buy a new Toyota."
I agree that the feds should get involved on this. This is clearly promoting insurance fraud. This is why we have to dish out more fucking money to buy insurance because of scum bag commercials brought up by tv exec's. They get rich and we have to pay more for insurance. WTF?
Old toyota is better than new.

Insurance fraud? Talk about over thinking it. Quit being so literal, chill out and have a laugh. At least its not as cheesy as other dealer spots.
