  • The human body sucks, if a God did create it, he did a crap job and should have spent some more time materials testing.

  • A month ago I was standing on the rubber mat on which my feet were kinda locked because it doesn't slip like on the wet floor. I tried to grab an item from the table which was behind me and that time I didn't lift my leg so twisted it lightly.. It didn't hurt I wasn't in pain but it got kinda loose or maybe that was just my panic imagination. It is not hurting and not swelling at all. I walk and even run. BUT I am scared that it can come out later... Pls give advice me if u know what is that?

  • dr i had acl surgery 4 months ago as meniscus too

my meniscus hurts when i bend knee

and when i bend knee through pain it pops loud and pain goes away

is dat ok ? will dat go away? pls respond me

  • I repair most mensiscus injuries by hand even if their MRI shows severe damage. Many people on crutches or in wheel chairs are walking unassisted after three office visits even when their MRI shows multiple ligament partial tears. If a patient were to fail to respond quickly to my care (within 3 office visits), I would refer them to an Orthopedist for a surgical consult. I have been developing this procedure for over 10 years, and I'm preparing for a 150 patient study.

  • Do u have to wear a brace after surgery

  • I have a miniscus tear in the right knee but also I have osteonecrosis in that knee and have a hole in my knee, which is clearly shown on the x-ray. The ortho MD I have said I need a partial knee replaceent on that right one. The left one is also a mess with fraying of the miniscus - that MRI was done about 3 years go so we will get an updated one. I am used to the pain, but, sometimes it is too much, yourknow? I go in late summer for Arthroscopic surgery. Happy times!

  • @1Prayerwarrior22 Thanks for letting me know. I wish you all the very best for Wednesday. Please let me know how it went and how you are recovering. John Adams, London.

  • @Johnnydadams I'm going in for surgery on Wednesday and they told me not to drive at all for about 3-4 weeks

  • Hi, just stumbled on this website. Today got a letter from the hospital to say the left knee injury I suffered five months ago shows up on the MRI scan as "bucket handle tear posterior horn of the medial meniscus with a Baker's cyst" (quite a mouthful!).

Told I need to return to hospital to discuss surgical intervention. Can anyone out there tell me if surgery will prevent me driving a car (with clutch) for how long roughly? Thanks, John.
