it takes 2 pennies a day from each person to insure that every single citizen has free health care fro cradle to grave. as it stands now, taxpayers pay $1,000 per year in hidden taxes and only a privileged few are covered.

universal health care is far from a "vain attempt at utopia"..

It just seems that conservatives can't possibly be as bad as they are portrayed. I guess no matter how good the idea they have to oppose it. In a way they are a true devil's advocate. They don't stand for anything. They're just against everything. This they think is going to win them votes. I really don't see how that is possible. People will get tired of democrats, no doubt. They always get tired of the party in power. But do Republicans have to be such douchebags?

insurance companies deny coverage because of the costs. families have to pay out of pocket sometimes. sometimes families go bankrupt because of medical costs. healthcare reform is about lowering costs. denying coverage lowers costs. we know that the public option is going to deny coverage because the public option is about lowering costs. if you really want to live in a marxist utopia that is fine with me but i hope you plan on being part of the proletariat.

Which insurance company do you work for, RoyalDemonforChrist? The insurance companies have been increasing profits steadily, 600 percent in the last eight years. A public option and serious health care reform will institute an affordable alternative for the American people which will force the insurance companies to offer FAIR rates to stay in business. I hope none of your family ends up with Cystic Fibrosis.

natural selection bro. in the wild there is no healthcare. you dont necessarily have to exist. has the universe not been good to you? is your existence not tolerable? how much will you take before you are wiped from existence? the law of nature undenied will not be defied by your vain attempts at a utopia.

A. We do not live in the wild. What a utopian idea? We live in civilization.
B. All other industrialized countries have governments that control health care costs and spend less per person and have better health care results than the United States. We are not asking for something that cannot or does not work, we are demanding something that exists everywhere else on Earth and does work better than the for-profit, anti-democratic, sickening capitalist monopoly that exists now.

This is the fallacy of "post hoc, ergo propter hoc" Because something comes after something, one thing causes another. Because bankruptcies follow insurance companies, bankruptcies will follow the Public Option. As pointed out, the bankruptcies are caused by the billions that go to insurance executives and keep the cost high, the Public Option will eliminate that and make health care affordable. The jump to a Marxist Utopia (what?) is a non sequitur. Capitalism made me part of the proletariat.
