The problem with the current tax code is not everyone is vested. Everyone should pay at least something. And everyone should always pay at least a portion of ANY tax increase. Otherwise, what's to keep the masses from simply taxing wealth away from people who have more money. People are always going to be less likely to support tax increases if they know they will also have to pay something.
Oh, and payroll "tax" does not count. That's for your retirement -so says the govt.

Some people are born into wealth.. And everything in life involves a little luck I honestly don't see why rich people are bitching your rich be happy so what your down a oouple bucks your still rich

He is right, though. People don't want to care about the people who have been hurt in the past to get a leg up as well. I don't support the 'spread the wealth around' deal but I think we could make some sacrifices to help some people catch up.
