meeting of Nazi officials on January 20, 1942, in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee to plan the final solution (Endlösung) to the so-called Jewish question (Judenfrage). On July 31, 1941, Nazi leader Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring had issued orders to Reinhard Heydrich, SS (Nazi paramilitary corps) leader and Gestapo (Secret Police) chief, to prepare a comprehensive plan for this final solution. The Wannsee Conference, held six months later, was attended by 15 Nazi senior bureaucrats led by Heydrich and including Adolf Eichmann, chief of Jewish affairs for the Reich Central Security

,Eichmann was captured in the 60s and executed in Israel. Schöngarth was executed by a British military tribunal for shooting a downed allied pilot.

Heinrich was assassinated by Czech agents in Prague.

Friesler was killed in an allied air raid (one of the members of the Hitler bomb plot actually survived because his file was buried in the rubble alongside Friesler! )

Most of the rest either got light sentences or got away with it.

How do you explain the fact that the Nazis who were tried after the war, including Eichmann, did not deny the Shoah; they all claimed they were acting under orders?
