A scenic hike through the Phoenix Mountain Preserve early in the morning. The soundtrack is actual audio recorded from a couple of different hikes and then mixed with some royalty-free background music titled "Homeward," which is licensed from Music 2 Hues.
All of the bird sounds are real, no special effects. If you listen closely you'll even hear a woodpecker, that's right, we have woodpeckers in the desert. Anyway my wife and I really enjoy hiking in that whole area around Piestewa Peak (named after the fallen soldier Lori Piestewa.)
The video and photos were shot with a Canon Vixia HF10 HD Camcorder w/DM 100 directional mic attached. Video editing was done with Pinnacle Studio software.

I used Pinnacle Studio 12 for this one. Nero Vision is another software that I use often. It seems to be the best at importing and exporting to different formats.

Hi Dan,
You are again amazing! You are such a wonderful artist to create the right mood with sound and visuals. I will put other one on my ipod. What is the music? It reminds me of Barry White's "Love Theme."
Many many Thanks,
Don & Julie
