Yes a bit of overacting near the end there, but I find that it's definitely because he realized the audience was laughing and wanted to show them this is a serious part. Unfortunately they kept laughing so he tried harder.
I blame zee audience, they even laughed at things that weren't funny near the beginning, he could tell right when he started that he'd really have to be serious at the end.

I thought the first three quaters were great acting wise and vocally, but the ending was just soooo overdone. I usually tear up towards the end of this song, but I was just too distracted by the over exagerated acting.

amazingly done! Bravo! Unfortunately the audience was to scared to be pulled back down to earth after "afraid to raise a kid".

I wish that this beautiful song, though comical at times, didn't pretend to not have a message. You are an exceptional vocalist and you really know how to make a crowd buy your emotions and I can really dig that...but I just wish the end was as heartwarming and soul shaking as Colin Hanlon. All personal opinion, you are an amazing performer!
