i have to thank monckton actually. for a long time i'd accepted that global warming was occuring but i wasn't appreciative of the degree of warming. i happened on one of his videos and found him preposterous in his contradictions of many facts that i thought i knew and so i started investigating and found out the truth. yes virginia, global warming is happening and is, indeed, agw.

Potholer tells you to be skeptical, in one of his earlier videos he even says that you shouldn't take his word and read the papers yourself and even explains why he's convinced and requests to be challenged with evidence.

While there may be some that can be qualified as alarmists I don't see how this comment applies to this video.

That's true, but let's not pretend like Al Gore and Christopher Monkton are equal on this issue. Al Gore is much more in line with the science.

Hi Peter, in court your tactic is often used with some success. You show that your opponent's argument has errors and that therefore your own argument, no matter how improbable, must be correct. Nonetheless I've downloaded a good 25-plus of your videos because I believe in knowledge and there's always the hope that I'll learn something new from climate change proponents that will change my mind.

It's called Graves' Disease. I think Monckton deserves credit for appearing in public despite this disfigurement. I know that I would hide away. Brilliant singer/songwriter Toni Childs's career was ruined by Graves' Disease.
