Unfortunately it's looking very unlikely - work commitments have heavily impacted on training. And then there's the small matter of paying for it...

This is great. It looks like a fantastic event, beautiful scenery. What i want to know is whether you felt like you were faster when you were riding as a team, or when you were separated and solo?

It was a great place to ride, makes the Downs seem somewhat tame!

In full flight we seemed to average about 18-19mph. The last 10 miles when we rode together I reckon that cranked up to about 22-23 mph.

Good video compilation of a great days bike riding , one of the best days cycling I ve every had at least. Did you get any video of the fast open road descent from Schiehallion ?

I don't think we did get any footage of that - the camera was handheld, so one of us might not have made it down the descent if he'd been filming!
