  • This is by far the best version of War is a Science on youtube. The lyrics in this version are different than the ones I'm used to, but this Charlemagne is the best I've seen. Thanks for uploading!

  • Fosse's work is Genius

  • tuna tuna. yakyak. :D

  • aww! they shulda let pippin sing. my school did a show/ fosse revue with this song in it and when pippin sang it was my fav part!

  • I'm glad they cut almost all of Pippin's part in this song, cause it sucks.

  • @Adam13171717 Respectfully, I don't think Fosse was focusing on the chaos of battle; see the battle scenes in "Glory." My perspective is he wants to show that war-lovers view killing as a lofty achievement, comparable to painting the Sistine Chapel or eradicating smallpox. Yes, a good commander wins more battles and there have been uncounted wars but to want to be known for how good they are at killing? Start a chicken farm or something.

  • I love the ensemble in Pippin so much

  • 3:04 that guy wasn't bred in the battlefield lol

  • Here's my interpretation of the choreography:

The soldiers all in alignment choreographically until he talks about "decimating the other side", then they go into a chaotic, disorganized, childish behavior. I think what Fosse was trying to portray was that war unleashes our more primal instincts(animal-like behavior) and it is less organized than we like to believe when it comes down to the root of it all. Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @RiayToons Spore, cuz it was around back then

  • Now I guess there must be a sort of a green Linoon poke'mam shooting rays calling everyone to be converted to the one only truth... Or was it a dog dressing up as a lion? Anyway, What is up with that poke'man giving me such a head-scrabble? I just gonna hide behind my pikachu's apron... Whining out of shame... Duhr-di-phucking-durp... ah... Yeah... Right?

  • Is these humans? Or creations made up using the creature editor on Spore?
