Rant on Homophobia

Homophobia is something I really can't stand.

Either some people hate gays for simply liking the same gender they are or they throw the bible at them. They do this without having no honest idea of what they are doing to the gay community. Gays suffer from so much hate simply for loving someone of the same gender as them...and being that America is suppose to have been founded on freedom, I find Homophobia disgusting to say the VERY least.

I don't care what the bible says...I don't care what anyone thinks is "natural" or not...hating someone for loving someone...is the most repulsive thing I have EVER heard of in my life. And some people even say that being Gay is a life choice....do you honestly think Gays CHOOSE to be Gay with all the homophobic hate in the world? Where in some places they're seen as evil and even killed? Where they are beaten and bullied in schools or other places? Do you honestly think ANYONE would CHOOSE a life like that? And even if their are people who choose to be with the same gender as themselves romantically...its none of your business and it doesn't effect your life in the least bit.

Its really time we grew up as a society...can we please get out of the Dark Ages of thinking when it comes to Homosexuality, Bisexuality and Lesbians and let these people be with who they want to be with without having to deal with all this hate?

My Friend used to be Homophobic but i somehow changed her from that to being excepting of 'gay' people, ^_^ i'm happy of that. Makes me feel accomplished.
