This is the most advanced portrayal of culture and race in the history on TV. The Afro Cuban experience is such a sharp contrast to the African American experience it would be super instructive if TV shows today used this contrast more often.

A typical LATIN family, not just cuban. I'm from Miami born and raised from Venezuelan & Spanish background. It would be the same @ my house too. This show was the best ever. I remember wactching this after school back in the 80's. CABALLERO!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!
